As a finalist in Veterinary Medicine, being awarded a partial scholarship for the short course from AYPAD in conjunction with Trainer International, I am incredibly grateful and excited.

I see it is a fantastic opportunity to deepen my understanding of research methodologies and their application in veterinary science.

Deogratius is a 24-year old Ugandan who possesses a robust academic background, commencing with nursery and primary education at Victory Learning Primary School in Masaka. Following this, he joined Uganda Martyrs Secondary School for both my Ordinary Level (O-Level) and Advanced Level (A-Level) in which he attained both U.C.E(2016) and U.A.C.E(2018) certificates.

Driven by the passion for veterinary medicine, he enrolled at Makerere University, where his currently pursuing a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout his academic journey, he actively engaged in extracurricular activities, demonstrating dedication to developing his leadership skills as an Entertainment secretary 2022-2023.

He has been the chairperson Central Executive Committee 2023-2024, St. Augustine Community, Makerere University and a commitment to personal and professional development. With a diverse range of experiences, from field cases to community service initiatives, his poised to make significant contributions in the field of veterinary medicine.

He has got qualities of a driven and ambitious professional, ready to tackle challenges and drive innovation in the veterinary industry.
