She finished her undergraduate in 2017 where she graduated with a bachelors of Nursing Science from Mbarara University of science and technology.
currently, she is undertaking a masters degree in Public Health at Makerere University under the distance education program where she’s is in her final year of study . career wise, Babirye has worked as a research nurse on several projects under the infectious diseases institute for the last three years.
She was also a frontline worker during the COVID 19 pandemic where she worked as an ICU nurse at Mulago National referral Hospital.
