Violet Alimwenda is a medical heath tutor by profession and currently pursuing her masters degree in MPH epidemiology and Biostatistics from James Lind institute Switzerland, she did her Bachelors degree in medical education from Makerere University.
She has 6 years of experience in teaching medical clinical officers in her country specifically medicine and pharmacology. She has been able to impact the new generation of learners with new knowledge and skills in diagnosing and treating patients.
Violet has mentored learners in their different capacities, participated in setting and modulating national examinations under the Uganda Allied Health Examinations Board. She has published research on the prevalence and factors associated with peripheral neuropathy among diabetic patients. She has got good communication and interpersonal skills.”
