Samuel ChiumiaI is a final year student at the University of Malawi pursuing a bachelor's degree in education social studies majoring in Geography.
He has served as the Students' Representative Council General Secretary in which he was mainly responsible for facilitating communication between the administration and the Students' body.
Samuel served as an intern at Creative Centre for Community Mobilization in which he was doing action research and was a member of theatre for Development. He has also worked as a Chairperson of Peer Educators at the University of Malawi responsible for distributing Sexual Reproductive Health Information and services
He is the chairperson of Champions advocating for Safe abortion at the University, he is recognized for being the best organizer of Finale Dinner of the Class of 2023. In 2024, he was was awarded as the most Sociable Person during his Finale Dinner cohort and currently a Trainer international candidate.
