He holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing science from Soroti University which he got this very year. Jacob also has a certificate of completion of a 6 hour required course on good clinical practice, Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education obtained in 2018 and a Uganda Certificate of education obtained in 2016.

Jacob served as the first guild speaker of Soroti university, class representative for the Nursing class at Soroti university, served as a Speaker students' council at Hilton high school- Mukono and served as assistant academics prefect at Soroti senior secondary school. this has improved his leadership skills due to the different roles played.

He is very enthusiastic at advancing his career and academics wisely especially in the field of research and leadership.
