Amina Yusuf is a passionate advocate for peace and security, dedicated to making a positive impact in her community and beyond. Motivated by a deep desire to contribute to conflict resolution and protect civilians from the adverse effects of conflicts, Amina made the decision to pursue a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Technical University of Kenya.

Through her studies, she aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of peace and security dynamics and develop the skills necessary to mitigate conflicts effectively. Driven by her commitment to promoting peaceful resolutions, Amina has also sought additional training on how to bridge the gap between the generations involved in peace building through volunteering in a peacebuilding organization to enhance her expertise in diplomacy further equipping herself with the tools and knowledge needed to facilitate dialogue and peaceful.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Amina finds fulfilment in engaging in charitable and humanitarian work. She dedicates her time to initiatives that uplift marginalized communities and improve their well-being.

Additionally, she is an avid reader, constantly seeking out materials that expand her knowledge and skills in her field, as she believes in the power of continuous learning to make a lasting impact.
